27 001
27001 is a resident at the railway. Purchased by the Class 27 Locomotive Group upon withdrawal 001 has put in many hours of trouble free service. Shares for the project went on sale in the mid 1980s, members of the group handed forms out to interested parties on the Edinburgh - Dundee services when these were diagrammed for 27s. Towards the end of it's service life 27001 worked several charter trains to destinations ranging from Fort William to York (!!!).
The well turned out device is seen between trips at Bo'ness station.
