Just along from and roughly in line with the one shop complex there are two pubs (or rather restaurants). The white one nearest the camera stands within the old site of 16 shop (wheel shop) accessed from a suitably named Wheelwrights Road whilst the one behind occupies part of 18 shop.

27th February 2005 - looking through the fence of the recently closed Bombardier bogie facility - the railway lines run along what remains of the top yard road. The concreted area to the upper right of this view is where 8 shop once stood. The hotel visible on the left stands on the site of 34 shop where locomotive control cubicles were overhauled and coils for electrical motors were made up.

A view of the hotel standing where 34 shop did; the car park is part of the site of 4 shop.
