The first of what was to be a batch of 37 vehicles 101 is seen at Meadow Road depot awaiting acceptance to service on 26th July 1993. Note the variety of manufacturers' badges and silver wheelnuts. Such additions were later cancelled as apparently it (1) saved costs (couple of quid then!!) and (2) Trent declared that they were not prepared to advertise vehicle manufacturers by dint of displaying their badges for all to see.

By now in service for a few months 102 also displays those horrendously expensive plastic badges and wheel nut rings at Derby Bus Station on 10th November 1993.
