In 1983 305 appeared in this very attractive scheme advertising Derby's "Multifare" ticket. Originally these were marketed as "Photfare" valid for a month and consisted of a rather large photo of the holder with a date printed underneath and was generated in a modified photo booth. The holder then had unlimited travel on all routes within Derby. Fleetline 179 was modified to include a photo booth and could be found parked outside the Market Hall - later Photofare tickets were available in the Co-oP. Note the cost of a Multifare ticket - 7 days £3.75 and 14 days £7.50!!!

305 is seen on the Market Place in February 1985 during a campaign day against the Transport Bill, parked nearby was the former 175 (below) which had been in use as a driver trainer numbered LB1.
