45114 would also emerge minus the orange cantrail lines (known then as "washing lines") as shown below on 45118.

Nearly two months later 45114, 45107 and 45110 have departed and here is the final Class 45 to be overhauled seen during the final stages of static yard testing 19th April 1986

Some years before the end of overhauls on Class 45s similar work had ended on the Class 46s - one of the final appearances for the type was 46031 seen here with 25184 on the Diesel Test House 20th July 1982.
