A short walk, under the pub sign and along the road for, oh at least 75 yards, brings us to the excellent Union Hotel. John has run the Union for just over 20 years after being a Captain in the Merchant Navy. The Union is absolutely crammed with nautical and other fascinating gadgets and novelties.
The Union Hotel seen from Garth Road (above), and below is the rear entrance. During summer a freezer crammed full of ice creams lives in front of where the crates are!
One of the top attractions in the Union is the 1980s Space Invaders machine, at 10 new pence a go too!
