Pardubice Fuss & Palaver!
To boost the day's mileage a trip to Ceske Trebova was thought to be a good idea. Starting with 150-023 with 14 vehicles in tow from Praha Hln to Pardubice, here's what happened next...............
The mighty 'Gorilla' 150-023 is ready for the 'off' from Pardubice................
Moments after departure wheelslip on the loco was followed by a bang of huge proportions from within (it certainly sounded like a few thousand Amps being disconnected!) and down came the pantograph..................
Some things never change - a staff meeting then promptly ensued but unlike the UK where having to wait hours for a rescue loco 130-016 was already being removed from it's freight train......................
And was duly attached to work the train forward to Ceske Trebova from where another loco took the train forward. The total delay was around an hour.
