The Volary Line
10th July saw the final day of the visit, the flight home not being due away from Praha until 21:40 is most useful in allowing a bonus day if you like. So it was off to Ceske Budejovice to cover the summer only loco hauled turns which did not disappoint with 749-134 and 749-241 officiating for the day.
Always fascinating is the amount of foliage present on a variety of routes as well as the total absence of any fencing. Here 749-241 heads towards Volary.
749-134 at Horice na Sumava with the 10:48 Cerny Kriz - Ceske Budejovice (train 8144) which has been strengthened by the addition of a conventional coach at the front.
