The Demise of ACH 506T

February 29th 2000 was not a good day for 506 which struck the rear of a lorry laden with steel girders and scaffolding. The accident happened near Attenborough, Nottinghamshire. Miraculously there were no injuries at all.

The vehicle is seen at Derby Meadow Road depot having been towed back from the accident scene. The force of the impact has caused some distortion to the body frame.
